Something jagged in the way the train throws me, as the masses waiting for this delayed transport leave me standing, grasping at the metal pole, slightly off balance with two bags, one on each shoulder, each carrying a slightly different load. Somehow I find myself adrift and dancing, not a “pole dance” per se, but a dance with the pole, a body without proper restraint, feet longing to climb sideways, force my body horizontal between the two vertical beams side by side. Visions of new structures, convoluted and creating a sense of anti-gravity, dumb type aspirations, beyond anything before. ![]()
